About Us
HUB Transition Centers was founded in June 2022 to address a critical need in Greenwood, South Carolina. We exist to support individuals who have begun the journey toward freedom from life-dominating habits, helping them rediscover their identity, build stability, and become healthy, contributing members of the community.
Our vision is to ensure that those seeking to move away from addiction, dysfunction, and homelessness are given a clear pathway toward lasting transformation. Through partnerships with local organizations, ministries, and churches, HUB Transition Centers provides supportive environments where individuals can continue their recovery journey and successfully transition into independent living.
HUB currently operates a 21-bed men’s recovery residence in Greenwood. The center is certified by the South Carolina Alliance for Recovery Residences (SCARR) and is one of only 14 certified recovery residences in South Carolina—and the only certified men’s recovery residence in the Greenwood area.
Our
Approach
HUB Transition Centers provides structured transitional housing designed to help individuals move from homelessness, addiction, and other life challenges toward stability and independent living. Our program combines structure, supervision, support, education, and life-skills development to help residents build the foundation needed for long-term success.
We believe that lasting change begins with learning to think differently. Transformation takes time, guidance, and consistent support. For this reason, each resident’s journey at HUB is individualized. Some individuals may stay for a shorter season, while others require more time to fully develop the habits and skills necessary for independent living.
Our team works closely with each resident to help them make the changes needed to successfully transition back into the community.
Our staff includes certified professionals with experience in addiction recovery, mental health support, trauma-informed care, and life coaching. Through mentorship, accountability, and practical training, residents are equipped with the tools they need to rebuild their lives.
HUB Transition Centers is also a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, reflecting our commitment to faith-informed care and professional standards that support lasting transformation.
